2 guys, 24hr, 7 buffets
Sin City, also known as Las Vegas, is said to be able to accommodate any vice that you may have or one that you may choose to indulge. So we chose Gluttony. On our last trip to Las Vegas with my friends Dave and Scott we notice that several of the Casinos were offering a buffet special that included seven buffets in 24 hours all for the wonderful low price of $44.00.
The seven choices were the Lago Buffet (Caesars), Le Village Buffet (Paris), Spice Market Buffet (Planet Hollywood), Flavors Buffet (Harrah's), Paradise Garden Buffet (Flamingo) Carnival World Buffet (The Rio), Village Seafood Buffet (The Rio), and the Emperor's Buffet (Imperial Place).
We decided to start with the Spice Market Buffet as we had been to the Le Village Buffet last December and we want to try the one's we had not been to. If you plan on taking advantage of this special I would suggest that you get the reward card. Just a note for convenience and you will save five dollars too by using the reward card. Also you will use your reward card at each of the buffets instead of wearing a wrist band for 24 hours.

Disneyland a photographer’s playground.
When most of us hear or think of Disneyland we think about a wonderful place for both the young and old. Visions of happy faces, vivid memories, and of course all of your favorite Disney characters.
While Disneyland is a magical place for young and old alike it is also a photographer's playground. With all of the buildings, characters and sets from favorite movies a photographer has unlimited opportunity to create fun and unique images. Disneyland was intended to be a visual playground for the mind. The buildings are designed to make Sleeping Beauty castle seem larger as you walk down Main Street. Color explodes all around you from the brightly decorated window displays. Unique architecture and beautiful landscapes abound. The prospects for beautiful pictures are everywhere.

Lake Mead with Austin
Monday June 8th, 2009
Dawn and I flew from Logan, Utah where we had been watching our grandson Dennis, to Las Vegas on our way to Meadview, the home of Joan and Gary Peterson. Alicia our daughter, Austin our grandson, and Aaron Bentley a friend of Austins all meet us at the Las Vegas Airport for the trip to Meadview. We got all aboard Joan's Excursion and headed out from the Airport. We made a couple of stops before we left Las Vegas. On at Sams club to stock up on food for the next couple of days. Then off to a Restaurant for dinner. The trip from the airport to Joan's house is about 2 hours. We have to drive over the Boulder Dam. Austin and Aaron where really impressed with the Dam and the size of Lake Mead.
